Summersdale title Understanding and Dealing with Heart Disease selected for Reading Well scheme

 

Summersdale health title, Understanding and Dealing with Heart Disease by Dr Keith Souter has been selected for the Reading Well Books on Prescription scheme for long term conditions, delivered by The Reading Agency in partnership with the Society of Chief Librarians. The scheme is available in 86% of library authorities in England and the titles on the new list will be promoted to library authorities nationally, as well as to Health Education England and selected health libraries. Books on the scheme have been recommended by health experts and people living with long term conditions. The full list of titles selected for the scheme was announced at a launch event hosted by the Wellcome Trust in London on 3 July.

 

 

Understanding and Dealing with Heart Disease by Dr Keith Souter offers essential information on: How the heart works; Problems caused by coronary heart disease; Recovering from a heart attack and dealing with angina or heart failure and Lifestyle changes you can make to improve your health.
