As part of Hachette UK, Summersdale Publishers are one of the world’s leading gift and non-fiction publishers. We are always on the lookout for new writers-for-hire to help us bring our ideas to life. We work with writers from all backgrounds ­– you do not need any formal qualifications and you don’t need to be agented, you just need a flair for engaging and creative writing. We welcome applications from anyone who loves our list and thinks they could bring something new to the Summersdale freelance writing team.

 

If you’re interested in writing for us, please email debbie@summersdale.com telling us a little bit about yourself, and which topics you’re interested in writing about (the more detail the better, as it helps us match you to suitable writing projects). If you have any sample writing or relevant writing experience, please send it along too, but these are not essential. If you love writing, we’d love to hear from you!
